Osasen's vision is to develop, manufacture and market, high precision and reliable, in vitro diagnostic devices (IVD), based on biosensórs for determining health-related markers.
Osasen's goal is to market cost-effective healthcare solutions, for marker monitoring and detection, to help making effective decisions in diagnosis,prevention, patient monitoring and therapies. This goal requires the combination of advanced technologies in various fields of knowledge such as biotechnology, microelectronics and new materials to address the development of the new generation of biological systems based on electrochemical detection and recognition PoC devices, carry out all the analytical process from sample application to analysis, such as enzymatic amperometric sensors, based on screen-printed electrodes with capillary refill and immunosensors developed on low cost basis, with integrated microfluidics and electrochemical detection.
In addition, a special technology surveillance will be made on other technologies such as microfluidics, microelectronics, optics and immunoassays, which make up the concept of Lab on a Chip (LOC).
Osasen aims to address the development of a new generation of biosensors. They will be Point of Care (POC) devices based on advanced detection systems, high sensitivity, specificity, reliability, simplicity and high speed metabolite/protein detection, for healthcare and fundamentally to monitor chronic patients, drug and therapy adherence.
