Last Thursday, November 24, the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid hosted the Health Hackathon 2022. The event was a platform in which various initiatives are announced each year before a panel of experts who value them and, among them, choose winning ideas that receive support to be able to develop
In this sixth edition, all the projects presented revolved around optimizing the health sector and contributing to its evolution. Around 50 teams showed up, all betting on their contribution to promoting society through health innovation. The winners turned out to be the following:

- Sandoz Novartis Challenge "Continuity of Care and Pharmaceutical Care", Growth category - "Doctomatic"
- “One Health” Pharmaceutical Challenge - INNOVAC- IOON 5.0
- Grünenthal Challenge “Prevention of chronic pain” - “No + Dolor”.
- ITEMAS 360 medics Challenge "Healthcare professionals" - RT Staff 27´
- COM Health Challenge "Health Communication", SEED category - "Teengram Developers"
- COM Health Challenge “Health Communication”, Growth category – SOBRINA Project
Clément Destoumieux (CEO medmesafe), was one of the members of the jury representing the Spanish Association of Startups, as its leader in e-health. Regarding the event, he declares “I am extremely satisfied and hopeful for the future of digital health. During this day, all the participants showed genuine interest in improving the areas to which their projects were directed, and that passion was reflected in the work they presented.”
The Health Hackathon 2022 was carried out thanks to COMSalud, the Association of eSalud Innovators (AIES) and the platform for revitalization and innovation of the industrial capacities of the National Health System (SNS), ITEMAS, belonging to the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII ).
