New digital technologies, such as big data, artificial intelligence, biorobotics and quantum computing, have an impact on social progress in areas like health, environmental protection, food safety and energy efficiency.

The use of new technologies is key to innovation, which is necessary to find solutions to the social challenges we are facing. 

These new technologies, in helping optimise resources, innovate in processes and products, improve decision-making and predict future events, provide companies with new capacities for their internal processes and the services and products they will offer clients in the future.

At AseBio we believe we are perfectly positioned to understand the intersection of biotechnology and new technologies.

We want to better comprehend the potential of interactions between biotechnology and new digital technologies. This is why we analyse the hurdles and challenges biotechnology companies must face in adopting these new technologies.

At AseBio we work to help connect our members with key stakeholders in the Spanish digital innovation ecosystem to bring about mutual learning and collaboration among the sectors. 

To do so, we have 49 organisations working in the Biotechnology and New Technologies workgroup to raise awareness of the potential of new digital technologies in our sector, among other issues
