PROCESS ENGINEER

As a Process Engineer at TECNIC BIOPROCESS EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on the development and improvement of our biotechnology equipment manufacturing processes. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, where you will be responsible for ensuring efficiency and quality in production. Additionally, you will have the chance to work closely with our clients and the R&D team to drive innovation and keep us at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of P&ID and monitoring of its evolution.
• Design and preparation of technical documentation.
• Strategically plan and meticulously execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for equipment, ensuring unparalleled performance prior to delivery to our esteemed clientele.
• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for biotechnology equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Identify and resolve production issues, applying continuous improvement methods and problem-solving techniques.
• Implement and maintain quality standards and operating procedures in line with industry regulations and standards.
• Participate in process validation and execute qualification testing.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Purchasing and Quality Assurance, to ensure efficient supply chain and production.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in the biotechnology industry.

Requirements:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the biotechnology equipment industry, preferably in roles related to process engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards in the biotechnology industry.
• Experience in process design and optimization.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to biotechnology equipment manufacturing, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
