Job Description

BIOINTAXIS, SL has an open position for a Scientist to join an ongoing project on “Gene Therapy for Friedreich Ataxia”.

Qualificationes and Experience

• PhD degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedicine, or similar.
• Documented experience in Cell Biology: iPScells, cell differentiation. 
• Work well in team setting.
• Experience in scientific writing, Data management and Bioinformatic analysis 
• Ability to follow instructions and Autonomy in the laboratory. 
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken). 
• Highly collaborative and strong communication skills. 
• Previous experience in Biotech especially in generation and validation of SOPs and gene therapy will be positively valued.

Main Responsibilities

• Establishment and studies of induced cell lines. 
• Functional in vitro and in vivo assays 
• Generate and validate SOPs d) Support molecular analysis of DNA gene therapy vectors 
• Support on intellectual property protection
